Rites For M. COCHRAN

Services for Margaret M. COCHRAN, 48, Fairfield, Route 1, will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at the Behner Funeral Home.

Mrs. COCHRAN died Friday at 8:50 a.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital. She had been in failing health for two months.

Last rites will be conducted by the Rev. D.O. Van Dyne. Burail will be in the Fell Cemetery at Libertyville. Visitation will be tonight at the Behner Funeral Home between 7 and 8 p.m.

Mrs. COCHRAN was born Dec. 24, 1928 in Jefferson County, the daughter of J. Warren and Vernie PEEBLER DAVIS.

On June 1, 1947, she married Bruce COCHRAN in Libertyville. He survives his wife.

Also surviving her are two daughters and two sons: Mrs. Donald WHITHAM and Mrs. Richard STOKES, both of Fairfield, Michael COCHRAN, Shawnee, Kan., and Douglas COCHRAN living at home.

Other survivors include five grandchildren, Mrs. Warren DAVIS, her mother of Fairfield, and one brother Ronald DAVIS, Ft. Madison.

Mrs. Cochran had been a lifelong resident of Jefferson County. For the last eight years she had worked as a nurses aide at Parkview Care Center, Fairfield.

Her father preceded her in death.

(I research the COCHRAN surname as it connects with my PEEBLER lineage.)
