Carrie Mary HAINES, 76, of 807 W. Taylor Ave., died at 6:55 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2003, at Nelson Nursing Home.
The casket will be closed according to family wishes. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Lockridge Cemetery in Lockridge, with a word of comfort by Don Raymond.
Family visitation will be held from 6:30-8 p.m. today at Behner Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Mrs. HAINES was born March 14, 1927, in Ottawa, Ill., the daughter of George E. and Elsie V. CHARBONNEAUX KELLER. She married Edward Archie HAINES July 25, 1947, in Mount Pleasant. He died July 9, 2001.
Mrs. HAINES lived in the Fairfield community since 1950. She had previous residences in Lockridge community and Ottawa. She was a homemaker and a teacher in Henry and Jefferson counties.
She was a member of Suburban Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter Mary Carrie RAYMOND and husband Don of Branson, Mo.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty Lou WIX of Fairfield Bay, Ark.; and one brother, Mark KELLER, Fairfield.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Nancy HAINES, who died in infancy; and one brother, George Raymond KELLER.
