HE WAS A VETERAN SOLDIER.

Henry STAFFORD died at his home on West Briggs Street, this city..... Born in Pennsylvania July 30, 1834 and came to this county with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James STAFFORD, when ten years of age. The family located near Salina, where the son grew to manhood and where he was married to Phoebe C. FRASHER January 22d 1867...... Two children survive the parents, Mrs. Edna HUGGINS of Louisville, Ken., and Arthur STAFFORD, with the U.S. army in the Philippines.... The body was taken to the Richwoods cemetery for burial.

Admin. note: Burial was in Lower Richwoods Cemetery, with wife Phoebe who died in 1899.
