The Brighton "News" notes the death of James PARK at his home near Germanville, this county, on the 27th ult. Mr. PARK was a native of Huntingdon Co., Penn., and was almost 80 years of age. He married Sarah CURFMAN, who survives him, on Sept. 1st, 1831, and removed to this county in 1850, purchasing the farm on which he lived at the time of his death..... Five daughters survive him, four of whom were present at the funeral -- Mrs. Dr. GREEN of this city; Mrs. Amon GARRETT of Monroe, Iowa; Mrs. F. M. CROY of Kanopolis, Kansas, and Miss Ellen PARK, who resided with her parents. Mrs. Elizabeth STEVER, living a mile west of this city, is a sister of the deceased.
