Word has been received in this city of the death of Capt. Amon PARK in Oklahoma Friday. He was a life-long resident of Walnut township, but went to the southwest about a year ago.

Capt. Amon PARK, for nearly sixty years a resident of Jefferson County, died near Mineo, Indian Terr., the 2d inst. He was born in Penn., Aug. 23, 1837, and came to Iowa with his father, Col. John PARK, who was once a state senator from Jefferson County. He was reared in Walnut township.....
