Services for Geneva M. BUCH, 82, 800 N. 12th, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. William Sullivan officaiting. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
Prayers for a Christian Wake will be tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home.
Geneva M. BUCH died at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Maple Leaf Nursing Center in Mount Pleasant.
Born March 16, 1899 near Sigourney in Keokuk County, she was the daughter of Peter and Margaret OLLINGER ADRIAN. She was reared and educated in Keokuk County and was a school teacher prior to her marriage to Leo P. BUCH Dec. 29, 1921. The marriage took place at St. Peter's and Paul's Catholic Church at Clear Creek.
They made their home in Keokuk County for 20 years after which they moved to Jefferson County in Brookville Community in 1942. They moved to Fairfield in 1956.
Mrs. BUCH was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society, Retired Teachers Association and the Maple Leaf Club.
Survivors include her husband, four sons and three daughters: Bernadine SHEETZ, Lloyd, Leonard, Keith and Gene, all of Fairfield; Evalee MICKEY, Mount Pleasant; and Donna SHELANGOSKI, Birmingham.
She is also survived by 39 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marcella SMITH, Wheaton, Md.; Marguerite ADRIAN and Corrine HORRAS, both of Sigourney; two brothers, Everett ADRIAN, Fairfield, and Donald ADRIAN, Sigourney.
