Geraldine B. GREENFIELD

Geraldine B. GREENFIELD, 90, of Donnellson, died at 4:35 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2001, at the Donnellson Care Center in Donnellson (note: in Lee Co., IA).

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Walt Graffam officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Family visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the family.

Mrs. GREENFIELD was born Sept. 7, 1910, in Selma, the daughter of Herman and Jane JOHNSON. She married Weslie G. (sic - F.) GREENFIELD Feb. 29 (sic - 27), 1929, in Fairfield. He died May 25, 1994.

She lived most of her life in the Fairfield community. She was a homemaker and a volunteer. She was a cook at Parsons College and the Stever House.

She was a member of the American Legion and was a Gold Star Mother of the Veterans of Foreigns (sic) Wars.

She is survived by one son, Weslie GREENFIELD of Moline, Ill.; one daughter, Linda GREENFIELD WILLIAMS of Mount Pleasant; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Larry A. and Leonard O. GREENFIELD; and one grandson.
