Rites For G. WILCOX

Golde WILCOX, 81, died Tuesday morning at Jefferson County Hospital after being in failing health the last several years.

Services will be Tuesday, 11 a.m., at Behner Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne L. Bartruff officiating. Burial will be in Fell Cemetery near Libertyville.

Mrs. WILCOX was born March 23, 1896 in Jefferson County, the daughter of Victor and Nancy LAWSON ANDERSON. On Feb. 9, 1921 she married Glenn RAIL. He died Feb. 6, 1945. On Aug. 30, 1958 she married Manford WILCOX who died September 1965.

Mrs. Wilcox lived most of her life in Jefferson County and was a member of First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son, Victor RAIL of Fairfield; two daughters, Darlene CREEK of Brea, Calif., Barbara SMITH of Fairfield; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, D. V. ANDERSON of W. Burlington and three sisters, Mrs. Lewis GOLDMAN of Norwalk, Calif., Mrs. Grant JOHNSTON of Fairfield and Mrs. Myrl HEADY of Laguna, Calif. One grandchild and five sisters preceded her in death.
