Clement J. PECK rites Thursday

Services for Clement J. Peck, 84, former resident of Fairfield, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. William Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Prayers for a Christian Wake will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Raymond Funeral Home.

PECK died Monday morning at his home in Wilton where he had lived since 1966.

Clement J. PECK was born May 22, 1900, in Jefferson County. He was the son of Adam and Mary PACHA PECK. He married Mabel WENDLING July 21, 1928 in Moline, Ill.

PECK was a resident of Fairfield and was a foreman at the Louden Machine Company for a number of years before moving to Wilton. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Wilton.

Survivors include his brother, Ambrose PECK, Fairfield; and a sister, Irene POWERS, Des Moines.

PECK was preceded in death by his wife who died Sept. 25, 1984; and five brothers and sisters.

(Clement's mother-in-law was Ida KESSEL PECK. I research the KESSEL lineage.)
