MILLER Rites On Wednesday

Mrs. Grace MILLER, 77, native of the Fairfield Community, died at 8:10 p.m. Saturday at the Jefferson County Hospital following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry D. Yancey officiating. Burial will be Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington.

Grace MILLER was born Dec. 24, 1895, at Fairfield, the daughter of Marion and Alice HEWITT BAKER. She was married to Frank W. MILLER Jan. 6, 1912, and he died in 1926.

Mrs. MILLER lived her entire life in the Fairfield Community and was employed at the Fairfield Glove Company for 37 years before her retirement. The family home is at 891 W. Hempstead. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter: John MILLER, Eudora, Kan.; William L. MILLER, Fairfield; and Mrs. Lucille THOMAS, Libertyville.

Other survivors are nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one daughter, two brothers, three sisters and two half-brothers.
