SMITH Funeral Will Be Friday

Funeral services for Mamie Raye SMITH, 84, who died Wednesday morning about 11:15 a.m., at the Nelson Nursing Home, will be held Friday, Nov. 4 at 10 a.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home. The Rev. James W. Dendler will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. SMITH was born Aug. 21, 1882, at Allerton, Iowa the daughter of Rev. C. E. (sic - Charles Edward) and Razilla Jane BATES WARD. She was married to Herman C. SMITH, She was also preceded in death by one daughter and four brothers.

She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Mrs. SMITH is survived by one daughter who resides in Sacramento, Calif., and one sister, Mrs. N. M. WARNICK of Spokane, Wash., and one brother, John WARD of Fairfield, four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
