Fairfield Journal, Sat. July 16, 1910, 2-3.

“REMAINS BROUGHT HOME FOR BURIAL. The remains of John Leech, well known Jefferson County man, arrived this afternoon from Wyoming, where he died the first of the week while visiting his son, Harry Leech and family. The body was taken to the home of another son, Judson Leech, who resides near Richland, and the funeral services will probably be held tomorrow afternoon at McDowell Chapel…..”

Lockridge Herald, July 22, 1910, 4-4.

"BLACKHAWK.....The body of Mr. Leech from Montana (?) arrived here Saturday and was taken to the home of relatives near the McDowell Church where the last services were held Sunday afternoon.”
