W. BONNETT dies at 64

RICHLAND --- Wilbur F. BONNETT, 64. died Sunday at Parkview Care Center at Fairfield. He had been in ill health the past four months.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Woolson Friends Church in charge of Rev. Naomi Lock assisted by the Rev. Kermit Black of Batavia. Burial in Richland Friends Cemetery. The Gould Funeral Home in Richland is in charge of arrangements.

BONNETT was born March 28, 1915, the son of Edgar and Effie May TURNBULL BONNETT. Surviving are his father of rural Fairfield, one brother, Merlyn BONNETT, Oskaloosa and two sisters: Marjorie McCRACKEN and Lurana REED, both of rural Fairfield, and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his mother and one brother.

He was a retired farmer living in the Woolson area before moving to the family farm near Batavia 30 years ago. He was a member of the Woolson Friends Church and later of the Peoples Church of Batavia.
