Richard A. BLOUGH, 1111 S. Fourth, died this morning at his home. Funeral services are pending at Raymond Funeral Home.

Richard A. (Dick) BLOUGH, 61, 1111 S. Fourth, died Monday morning at his home.
The service is tentatively set Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home. The Rev. D. O. Van Dyne will officiate. Burial and military rites will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The son of H. Leon and Helen PARSONS BLOUGH, he was born Dec. 7, 1918 in Fairfield.
He married Vera V. RICE Dec. 30, 1957 in Albia.
A veteran of the 133rd Infantry Division of the National Guard in World War II, he served in the military for 30 years in the U.S. Army and Air Guard as well as the National Guard. He was employed by Mason-Hanger at the Burlington Ordnance Plant until 1976. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, William H. RICE Jr., and Timothy Ray RICE, both of Des Moines; two granddaughters and one sister, Maycelle ALLISON (sic. Maycel Leota BLOUGH ALLISON, 1920-2011), Fairfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
