Dorothy I. DOROTHY

Dorothy I. DOROTHY, 86, of 807 W. Taylor Ave. died at 5:45 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2000, at the Jefferson county Hospital in Fairfield.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. John Kress officiating. Burial will be in Spencer Cemetery, northeast of Stockport. Friends may begin calling at 9 a.m. Thursday with family visitation from 7-8 p.m. the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Nelson Nursing Home Activity Fund.

Mrs. DOROTHY was born Jan. 30, 1914, in Birmingham, the daughter of James Frederick and Luella SEE WILLIAMS. She married Glen D. DOROTHY Oct. 5, 1932, in Galesburg, Ill.

Mrs. DOROTHY was a graduate of Birmingham High School. She and her husband lived most of their lives on a farm in Cedar Township, northeast of Stockport. She was a secretary for the Jefferson County Farm Bureau for 22 years.

Survivors include her husband, Glen DOROTHY, Fairfield; two sons, Richard DOROTHY of Richland and Ronald C. DOROTHY of Fairfield; seven grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters, Amber WOODY, Edith WILLIAMS and Beulah BUCHER.

I am related to this family by marriage.
