Graveside Services For BROWN Infant

Graveside services for Donald Kirk BROWN (sic. a/k/a Danny Kirk BROWN on headstone inscription), stillborn son of Donald L. and Joyce BLOUGH BROWN, were held this afternoon at 4 o'clock in Evergreen cemetery. Dr. J. Henry Teele was in charge of the service.

The infant was born this morning at Jefferson County hospital. The BROWN home is two and a half miles southeast of Fairfield.

Note: The given name according to the obituary was Donald Kirk BROWN. His headstone, however, uses Danny Kirk BROWN. Buried in Evergreen cemetery, Fairfield, Iowa. 3rd.179.

A previous Evergreen cemetery transcription inadvertently listed Danny under the "BLOUGH" surname instead of "BROWN." He is buried in the same plot at his maternal grandparents, John D. BLOUGH and Beulah Marie STEWART BLOUGH.
