Robert G. CARPENTER

A funeral service for Robert G. CARPENTER, 60, of Naples, Fla., who died Friday, Dec. 13, 1996, at Hospice House in Naples after a long illness, was Dec. 17 in Youngstown, Ohio. Memorials can be made to Hospice House of Naples, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, Fla., 34105.

CARPENTER was born Jan. 7, 1936, in Fairfield, the son of William and Gertrude KELLY CARPENTER. He married Carol A. YOUNG Dec. 26, 1973. He was a certified public accountant and auditor for 30 years. He worked as a congressional auditor before retiring in 1991. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Iowa and was listed in "Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges". He was a member of the Elks Club 2010 in Naples and was an Army veteran.

Survivors include his wife; and a brother William of Salt Lake City. He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul.
