Carol Ann SPRAY MADDEN

Carol Ann SPRAY MADDEN, 71, of Sheldon, Mo., died Monday, May 28, 2012, of cancer at Freeman Hospital.

A celebration of life is planned for 7 p.m. Monday in her home's flower garden.

A graveside service and burial of cremains will be at a later date in Libertyville.

Memorials may be made to cancer research.

Daniel Funeral Home in Lamar, Mo., is handling arrangements.

She was born Oct. 22, 1940, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Ernest and Dorothy SPRAY.

Mrs. MADDEN graduated from Fairfield High School.

Survivors include two sisters, Evelyn HESSELTINE of Richland and Edith Yvonne DAVISSON of Sheldon, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Max MADDEN; her parents; and two brothers, John Theodore SPRAY and James Nelson SPRAY.
