Michael Wayne BROWN

Michael Wayne BROWN, 39, of Arbela, Mo., formerly of Keosauqua, died at 12:22 p.m. Friday, May 25, 2012, in the emergency room of Samaritan Hospital, Macon, Mo., as the result of a logging accident near New Cambria, Mo.

The funeral was at 2:30 p.m. today at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua with the Rev. Bill Shewmaker officiating. Cremation followed the service with private burial of cremains in Spencer Cemetery, Stockport.

Visitation was Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial gifts to the family toward a gravestone may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at P.O. Box 105, Keosauqua 52565.

Mr. BROWN was born Nov. 29, 1972, in Keosauqua the son of Larry and Judy HENDRICKS BROWN. He married Kathleen CLAWSON Nov. 6, 1992, in Douds.

He graduated from Van Buren High School, had farmed, worked for Waste Management Co. and currently worked for Tri-State Timber as a logger.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, David CLAWSON and Sean WOODSON both at home; two daughters, Kim BROWN of Batavia and Samantha TOPPING of Birmingham; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, two sisters, Terri NORTON of Brighton and Becky McMURRAY of Keosauqua; his parents; and grandparents, Glen and Betty HENDRICKS, all of Keosauqua.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne and Thelma BROWN.
