William STEWART Taken In Death

ROCK ISLAND, ILL. - William E. STEWART, 87, of Rock Island, died Thursday night in a Rock Island convalescent home. He was a former Fairfield resident.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m., daylight time, at the Wheelan Funeral home at Rock Island. Committal services will be held at the Evergreen cemetery in Fairfield at 2:30 p.m., CST.

STEWART was born at Utica on June 10, 1878. He was reared and educated at Fairfield and lived there many years. He moved to Rock Island from Davenport in 1950.

He is survived by several neices (sic.) and nephews and was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
