MRS. STEWART PASSES AWAY

The Funeral Tomorrow At 2 O'clock from the Home In Charge of Rev. Polly

Mrs. Henry STEWART passed away Saturday night at 10 oclock at her home, 507 East Adams street following an illness of two weeks.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 oclock from the home in charge of Rev. R. H. Polly. Interment will be at Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. STEWART was born February 10, 1854 in Bonaparte, Iowa and has for the past 30 year (sic. years) made her home in this city. Mr. STEWART passed away 11 years ago. She is survived by the following children, William of this city, Mrs. Ralph RUSSEL (sic. RUSSELL) of Linwood and Mrs. O. N. BARTON of this city.

OBITUARY

Mrs. Henry STEWART

Millie Virginia HUGGINS, daughter of David HUGGINS, was born at Bonaparte, Iowa, Feb. 10, 1854, and departed this life at her home in Fairfield, Iowa, April 30, 1927 at the age of 73 years 2 months and 20 days.

On January 16, 1873 she was united in marriage to Henry STEWART of Utica, Iowa, who preceded her in death about ten years ago (sic. died April 30, 1916). To this union four children were born of whom William STEWART, Mrs. O. N. BARTON of this city and Mrs. Ralph RUSSELL of Linwood, Iowa, survive, one daughter, Flora, having died in infancy (sic. Flora's DOB&DOD and burial location not known). She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. M. H. BARNETTE, Cantril, Iowa, and Mrs. Jane NICHOLS, Upton, Iowa, and two brothers, Alonza HUGGINS of Oregon and Charles HUGGINS Queen City Mo., also 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

About 40 years ago she became a member of the Baptist church of Utica, Iowa, of which she was a devoted member, and after coming to Fairfield, transferred her membership to the Christian church and took such part in the welfare of the church as her health permitted.

She was a loving and devoted wife and mother, cheerful and self-sacrificing, always ready to lend a helping hand wherever needed and will be long be remembered by her friends and neighbors.

Funeral services were held from her home, 507 East Adams street, Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 oclock by her pastor, Rev. R. H. Polly, assisted by the Woman's Relief Corps of which she was a member, Mrs. Norvell SWITZER and Miss Mary STEVER accompanied by Mrs. A. C. JOHNSON, sang "Beautiful Isle," "Abide With Me" and "Jesus Savior Pilot Me." Interment was made in Evergreen cemetery.
