The remains of Roy HAWK were brought in on a Rock Island train Sat. evening and taken out by Undertaker Luellen of Salina, for burial at the Lower Richwoods cemetery, Sabbath. He was a son of the late Jackson HAWK and grandson of William HAWK of Penn township. He was 19 years old. Had been in poor health for several years and had been visiting his grandparents, Jacob SINN’s (sic), in the northwest part of the state, and from there had gone west and died at Colorado Springs..... consumption.
