--David GORE, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas LIDDLE, 404 W. Kirkwood, has been transferred from University General Hospital in Iowa City to the hospital at Manning, where he lives. GORE is awaiting chemotherapy and remains in serious condition.

GORE Dies

David H. GORE, 39 of Manning died Thursday about midnight, according to word received here by his sister, Mrs. Donald HEWITT, 805 W. Kirkwood.

GORE was the son of Mr. and Mrs. T.H. LIDDLE. 404 W. Kirkwood. They have been in Manning with their son and family.

Services are pending.

GORE Rites On Monday

Graveside rites will be held Monday, March 10, for David H. GORE, 39, former Fairfield resident who died Thursday at Manning.

The services Monday will be at 2:30 p.m. in Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Miller officiating.

Last rites will be held Sunday afternoon at Manning after which the casket will be brought to the Weston Behner Funeral Home. The body will lie in state at the funeral home Monday morning.

David H. GORE was born July 22, 1935, in Des Moines. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas H. LIDDLE. He attended Fairfield schools and graduated from the Fairfield High School in 1953.

He had worked for the United Telephone Co. at Manning for the past 20 years. He was married Aug. 4, 1954, to Barbara ELLIS.

In addition to his widow, GORE is survived by one daughter, Mrs. James CLARKE, Blue Ridge Summit, Pa.; four sons, David Jr., Dwight T., Dwayne A., and Daniel L., all at home; and one granddaughter.

He is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. LIDDLE, Fairfield, and a sister, Mrs. Donald HEWITT, Fairfield.
