Harold W. PECK, 59, 202 E. Fillmore Ave., died at 1:10 a.m. today, Dec. 8, 1988, at Jefferson County Hospital.
Arrangements are pending at Raymond Funeral Home.
PECK was born Dec. 5, 1929, in Fairfield, the son of Thomas and Frieda GIESE PECK. On June 7, 1952, he married Geraldine "Gerri" M. RAPP in San Antonio, Texas. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Rick of Fairfield, Randy of Lockridge, Ronald of Columbus, Ga.; a grandson; a granddaughter and a sister, Marilyn SMITH of Gallipolis, Ohio. His parents and a brother, Orville, preceded him in death.
PECK had lived in Fairfield all of his life. He formerly owned Peck's Emporium, worked at the Shriner and Johnson, later Johnson and Peasley Drug Store, and was manager of VFW until his illness six months ago.
He was a member of the Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Elks, and a charter member of the Fairfield Police Reserve. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

The service for Harold W. PECK, 59, who died early Thursday at Jefferson County Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Clair Odell officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. A memorial has been established to the VFW projects.
