George TUCKER rite Tuesday

George C. TUCKER, 95, formerly Fairfield, died at 8:25 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, 1988, at Stella Manor Nursing Home in Russellville, Ark.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul R. Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where friends may begin calling Monday morning.

TUCKER was born Nov. 23, 1893, in Letts, the son of John and Emma ADAMS TUCKER. He married Nina LAWSON Sept. 2, 1919, in Fairfield. She died Sept. 2, 1981. He had been a farmer and had worked for the Dexter Company for many years. He was a World War I veteran, having served in the U. S. Navy, and was a member of Assembly of God Church.

Surviving are two sons, George L. of Russellville, Paul of Shawnee, Okla.; a daughter, Barbara TUCKER of Russellville; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and a sister, Pearl PEDERSON of Ottumwa. A son, Robert; a brother, Willard and infant sister and four infant brothers preceded him in death.
