Joe (sic - Jim) DOVICO

BATAVIA - Jim DOVICO, 73, died at his home in Batavia Thursday evening.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Eldon with the Rev. Mark Spring officiating. Burial will military rites will be in Batavia Cemetery. The rosary and wake service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia with the Rev. Mark Spring and the Rev. Kermit Black officiating.

DOVICO was born Jan. 18, 1910 in Palerman, Italy, the son of Sam and Virginia PASSALACQUA DOVICO. He came to the United States in 1920. He lived in the Batavia area the past 45 years where he was involved in trucking and logging. On Sept. 10, 1968, he married Carolina MANTO, who survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mary and Grace, both at home; a sister, Mary DOVICO of San Juan, Calif.; two brothers, Joe of Garden Grove, Calif. and Sam of Batavia.
