Darlene P. GERLEMAN 84, of Mount Pleasant and formerly of Lockridge died Friday, May 4, 2012, at Arbor Court Nursing Home, Mount Pleasant.
The funeral was at 10 a.m. today at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Mount Pleasant, with the Rev. Joseph Phung officiating.
Visitation was Sunday at Murphy Funeral Home in Mount Pleasant and included a Rosary. Burial was at St. Alphonsus Catholic Cemetery.

Mrs. GERLEMAN was born Sept. 4, 1927, in Cresco, the daughter of Earl L. and Dora M. ERNST STEVENS. She married Edward A. GERLEMAN Oct. 5, 1949 in Cresco. He died April 2, 2006.
She attended Cresco schools and attended cosmetology school. She had a paper route, was a beautician for many years and retired from Metromail in 1987. She also was the bookkeeper for her husband's construction company.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren, gardening, flowers, wildlife and word search puzzles.
Survivors include three sons: James GERLEMAN and wife Myrna, Thomas GERLEMAN and wife Kim and Ronald GERLEMAN and wife Krista, all of Lockridge; four daughters: Ann JOHNSON and husband Jerry of Nixa, Mo., Kathleen KESSEL and husband John of Fairfield, Sandra SPEES and husband Steve of Birmingham and Barbara NEFF and husband Larry of Lockridge; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Earl STEVENS of West Bend.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Robert and one sister, Ione.
