C. Joan HOSTETLER

C. Joan HOSTETLER, 82, of Forsyth, Mo., died Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at her home.

A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, with the Rev. Stacy Grau officiating.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 10-11 a.m. Monday at Behner Funeral Home.

Memorials may be sent to Fairfield First Lutheran Church or to Skaggs Hospice, P.O. Box 650, Branson, Mo. 65616. Notes of condolences may be sent to 13323 Eagle Drive, Douds 52551.

Mrs. HOSTETLER was born Jan. 1, 1930, in Fairfield, the daughter of William and E. Vivian SHELTON. She married Paul HOSTETLER Jan. 23, 1948. He preceded her in death (sic - in 1994).

She attended Fairfield schools and worked as a certified nursing assistant at Jefferson County Hospital more than 30 years, retiring in December 1992.

She moved near Branson, Mo., to enjoy warmer weather, country music and her pastimes of reading and knitting.

Survivors include one daughter, Cheryl FYE and husband Bil of Branson; two sons, Terry HOSTETLER and wife Brenda of Douds and Doug HOSTETLER and wife Candy of Branson; and two grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
