February 7, 1977Miss GAUMER Dies Today
Blanch Ora GAUMER, 91, died today at 3:05 a.m. at the Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua. She had been a resident there since March 29, 1974. Her home in Fairfield was at 201 W. Kirkwood.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff in charge. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
Blanch was the last member of the immediate GAUMER family. Two of her brothers, G.W. (Wes) who died in 1968, and Harvey who died in 1970, operated the Gaumer Brothers Drug Store, a landmark in the business community of Fairfield.
Born Nov. 19, 1884 in Grinnell, Miss GAUMER was the daughter of James and Anna BALES GAUMER. She was reared and educated in Fairfield and had retired after being employed at Dexter Company for 20 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF ORA BLANCH GAUMER, DECEASED:
YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 14TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1977, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ORA BLANCH GAUMER DECEASED BEARING DATE OF THE 7TH DAY OF MAY, 1971, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT MARGARET GAUMER WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF SAID ESTATE.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ALL PERSONS INDEBTED TO SAID ESTATE ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THE UNDERSIGNED, AND CREDITORS HAVING CLAIMS AGAINST SAID ESTATE SHALL FILE THEM WITH THE CLERK OF THE ABOVE NAMED DISTRICT COURT, AS PROVIDED BY LAW, DULY AUTHENTICATED, FOR ALLOWANCE; AND UNLESS SO FILED WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE (UNLESS OTHERWISE ALLOWED OR PAID) SUCH CLAIM SHALL THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
