Robert EGAN

Word has been received here of the death of Robert EGAN, 60, former resident of Fairfield who died July 3 at his home in Waukesha, Wisc. Services were held July 7 in Waukesha.

He was born July 24, 1920, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray EGAN, both deceased. He spent most of his early life in Fairfield and graduated from the Fairfield High School with the class of 1938.

At the time of his sudden death he was employed at the Sears store at the Southridge Shopping Center in Waukesha. EGAN served in the Army Air Force during World War II and was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church, Elks Club and VFW in Fairfield.

Survivors include his widow, Joyce C.; one son, Robert, Jr., Waukesha; four daughters, Saundra CURREN, Patrica OWEN, Cheryl and Kathleen, all of Waukesha.

Also a brother, William EGAN, Mediapolis; a sister, Grace HARRINGTON, Waterloo; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother.
