W. BUNNELL dies at 76

Wallace C. BUNNELL, 76, resident of Fairfield for 44 years, died at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Jefferson County Hospital. Reports said he died of a heart attack.

Services will be held Saturday morning but the time and details are pending. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Behner Funeral Home.

Wallace C. BUNNELL was born Dec. 27, 1904, at Lawrence, Neb. He was the son of William and Grace KELLOGG BUNNELL.

He was a graduate of the School of Engineering at the University of Nebraska and came to Fairfield in 1937, when he began employment at the Louden Machinery Co.

BUNNELL was a member of BPO Elks 1192, Rotary Club, St. Peters Episcopal Church and served for a number of years as a member of the Evergreen Cemetery Association Board.

He was married Aug. 14, 1837, to Jeannette JOHNSON who survives. The family home is at 802 E. Burlington.

In addition to his widow, BUNNELL is survived by one son, William E., Chicago; and a daughter, Elizabeth A., North Lake, Wisc.; and a brother, W. Kirby BUNNELL, Peru, Ind. He was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

Rites set for W.C. BUNNELL

Services for Wallace C. BUNNELL, 76, 802 E. Burlington, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday St. Peter's Episcopal Church, Barhydt Chapel, with the Rev. Thomas Hulme officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

BUNNELL died at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Jefferson County Hospital after suffering a heart attack.

Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. this evening at the Behner Funeral Home.

The family of Wallace C. BUNNELL especially want to thank Dr. C.F. Watson as well as Dr. Egli, Dr. Hill and the personnel of the Jefferson County Hospital. A special thanks goes to the personnel who work on the second floor and especially those who work in the cardiac unit for all the care they gave our husband and father. The family of Wallace C. BUNNELL want to thank all who have extended help and sympathy in so many ways, by visits, cards, food, and the many other expressions of sympathy.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF WALLACE C. BUNNELL DECEASED:

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 27TH DAY OF JULY, 1981, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF WALLACE C. BUNNELL DECEASED BEARING DATE OF THE 12TH DAY OF JUNE, 1979, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT JEANNETTE I. BUNNELL WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF SAID ESTATE.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
