Page 6, Column 5Jacob F. WERNER died in Brighton the 20th inst. He was born in Germany in 1832, spent the early years of his life in Odessa, Russia, and came to the U.S. in 1849. The family removed to Jefferson County in 1865 and lived in Walnut township, this county, until 1893. Mr. WERNER married Sophia KESSEL in 1852 and the wife and seven children survive.
