Mrs. STARK Rites Set

Mrs. Edith T. STARK, 85, of Route 4, Mount Pleasant, died at 5:20 p.m. Thursday at Jefferson County Hospital. She had been in failing health the past six months.

Mrs. STARK was born Sept. 28, 1890 at Pleasant Plain, the daughter of Swan and Charlotte ANDERSON JOHNSON. On March 25, 1914 she married Henry H. STARK at Fairfield. He died July 1, 1964.

The deceased had lived most of her life in Jeffeson and Henry Counties. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Surviving are one son, Harley STARK and one daughter, Mrs. Earl HUMPHREY, both of Mount Pleasant; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be at Weston Behner Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m., Monday with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
