MRS. FRED GREBER DIED THIS MORNING.

Mrs. Fred GREBER, well known resident of this city, died this morning at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. P. A. SWANSON on East Lowe street, after a year's illness with tuberculosis.

Esther Amanda SWANSON, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. A. SWANSON, was born at Varna, Ill. December 7th, 1885. In 1898 moved to this county where she has since resided.

On January 5, 1909, at Salina, Ia., she was united in marriage to Fred GREBER. To this union was born two sons, Wesley Henry and Howard Leslie, who have preceded their mother in death.

Besides the sorrowing husband she is survived by her parents and one sister, Mrs. Ellen ENGSTRAND, and Henry A. SWANSON, both of this city.

The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon from the SWANSON home on East Lowe street at two o'clock and at 2:30 fro mthe (sic) LUtheran church, in charge of Rev. H. A. Anspach of the Lutheran church of which she was a faithful member. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. Fred GREBER

Mrs Fred GREBER passed away Monday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. P. A. SWANSON on East Lowe street after an extended illness with tuberculosis.

Funeral services were held at the SWANSON home Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock and from the Lutheran church at 2:30 oclock, conducted by Rev. H. A. Anspach. Burial was made in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. GREBER was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. A. SWANSON and was born at Varna, Ill., December 7, 1885. The family moved to this county in 1898 and she had since made her home here. She was united in marriage with Mr. Fred GREBER January 5, 1909, at Salina. To this union were born two children, both of whom preceded their mother in death.

She is survived by her husband, parents, one sister, Mrs. Ellen ENGSTRAND, and one brother, H. A. SWANSON.

Mrs. GREBER was a faithful member of the Lutheran church and had many friends who mourn her death.

To All Whom it May Concern:

Notice is hereby given that an instrument purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Esther GREBER, deceased, is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the District Court of Jefferson County, and that September 18th, A. D., 1917, at 2 o'clock p.m., it being the eighth day of the September Term, 1917, of said court, has been set for proof and final hearing of same.

Witness my hand and the seal of said Court this 14th day of August, 1917.

Admin. note: Buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Lot 2nd.052. Husband Fred (George Frederick) remarried to Nellie KYLE and is buried with her in Lot 2nd.016½. On her gravestone is mention of "Their Son Charles", with no dates, and that the stone was erected by her father. It is not known who this Charles is, and there is no record at the cemetery of any such-named burial.
