Daniel GREBER, well known and highly respected resident of Fairfield for many years, died about 1:30 this afternoon at the home of his son Jacob GREBER on N. Main St. Asthma and a complication of diseases. Mr. GREBER was born in Rheinspfatz, Germany Feb 27 1832 and in 1855 married Miss Anna MESSER (sic - Dora on their stone). To them two children, Jacob and George. The latter died when one year old. His wife died 24 years ago, almost to a day (sic - 14 Sep 1889). There are three grandchildren, Raney and Miss Anna GREBER of this city, and Fred who resides seven miles northwest..... Remains will be laid to rest at (Lower) Richwoods.
