Mrs. Sarah HARWOOD died early today at the home of her son G. C. HARWOOD near Abingdon. Survived by four children: Clay and Geneva of Fairfield; Mrs. G. W. KNESS of Goodland, Kansas, and Guy of Batavia. M. B. HUMPHREYS is a brother.... She was born at the old HUMPHREYS homestead near Fairfield Jan 30 1851; married Charles HARWOOD in 1879; he died Apr 11 1902.

Obit. Sarah C. (HUMPHREYS) HARWOOD, b. Jan 30 1851, d. Apr 3 1926 age 75-2-3; married Oct 5 1879 Charles HARWOOD who died 11 Apr 1902. 5 children, one dying in infancy..... Leaves also two sisters and two brothers: Mrs. Louella EWING, Albion, Neb.; Mrs. Cora MERCHANT of Sheldon, Mo.; Fred HUMPHREYS of Newcastle, Wyo.; M. B. HUMPHREYS of Fairfield, and six grandchildren.

Admin. note: Buried in Abingdon Cemetery with husband Charles who died in 1902.
