John Mannhardt died at his home in Germanville the 7th inst. Dropsy. Remains interred near his old residence on Monday following. Born in Germany in 1816. Came to U.S. in 1848 and to this county in 1856......He served in the German army six years and lost one son, Daniel, in the war of the rebellion. Twice married, second wife and several children survive.....
