George L. HOEFER, 91, former Jefferson County resident, died Thurs. In El Cajon, Calif. Spent most of his life in the Germanville area. Had been a resident of El Cajon for 18 years. Services and burial will be held in California. Born in Germany, coming to the U.S. at age 28; married Pauline SCHMIDT in 1902; she died about five years ago. Surviving children are Carl and E. O. HOEFER, Brighton; Mrs. Walter BUSH, El Cajon, Calif.; Mrs. Lester FANNING, Racine, Wis.; and Mrs. Clarence HASS, Clinton.
