John Hook, 87, former resident of the East Pleasant Plain and Brighton communities, died Tuesday evening at St. Francis Hospital in Burlington. He was the last of a family of eight children. Burial to be in Sacred Heart Cemetery..... He was the last of a family of eight children, born May 28 1871 at East Pleasant Plain, son of Joseph and Kena Crunda Hook. Unmarried. Carpenter by trade.....Survived by several nieces and nephews, Joseph Hook, Mrs. Carrol Ruboy, Clarence Hook, Myrtle Hook, and Mrs. Clarence Whialer, Brighton, and Mrs. Bertha Davison of Fairfield.
