Elmer C. Bain, 80, father of Mrs. Maynard Goff, Fairfield, died Fri. Night at Washington County Hospital. Retired farmer; had made his home in Washington for 25 years. Buried North Hill Cemetery, Wayland. Zehr Funeral Home, Wayland. Born Aug. 23 1887 in Jefferson County, son of Asbury and Margaret Hildebrand Bain; married May 5 1910 to Fern Lute, who died in 1949. On Dec. 7 1952 he married Tina Holt, who survives.
