Bernice Faye RODIBAUGH, 87, of Nelson Nursing Home, died at 7:10 p.m. Friday, April 10, 1998, at the nursing home.
Funeral service is planned for 10 a.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Nesbitt officiating. Burial will be in Fell Cemetery south of Libertyville. Visitation began at noon today, and family will be present 7-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Fell Cemetery or Faith United Methodist Church.
Mrs. RODIBAUGH was born Dec. 3, 1910, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Charles Lee and Mary Delilah MANNING TAYLOR. She married Lester Clyde RODIBAUGH June 3, 1933, in Fairfield. He died July 17, 1993.
She lived her entire life in the Libertyville community. She graduated from Fairfield High School in 1927. She was a teacher in the Jefferson County rural schools and a substitute teacher for many years. She was employed as head cook and food service supervisor for Jefferson County Hospital for more than 20 years until her retirement.
Mrs. RODIBAUGH was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville and United Methodist Women.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald of Searsboro, and Steven of Libertyville; one daughter, Karen STUMP of Libertyville; six grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; one son, Jerry Lee; two brothers, Ross and Glenn; and three sisters, Marie, Irene, and Cleo.
