Ruth LANE

Ruth Carolyn Louise PETERSEN LANE, 86, of Louisville, Colo., formerly of Fairfield, died Sunday, April 5, 1998, in Boulder, Colo.

A private funeral service was held for family and the body was cremated. Arraignmnts were by Darrell Howe Mortuary in Lafayette, Colo.

Mrs. LANE was born Aug. 29, 1911, in Grand Rapids, Mich., the daughter of Phillip and Louise SEYFORTH PETERSEN. She married Marionh Mac LANE Sept. 4, 1940. He died September 1990. She moved to Colorado in 1996.

Mrs. LANE was active in the Republican party, Lutheran Women's Welfare League and church. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi and had a special talent for painting and floral designing. She was a homemaker.

Surviving are three daughters, Barbara of Des Moines, Virginia TRICLET of Louisville, and Mary of Independence, Mo.; one grandchild; one sister, Doris E. SWAN of Arlington Heights, Ill.; several cousins, nieces nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
