Thomas A. 'Bullet' SIMPSON

Thomas A. "Bullet" SIMPSON, 52, of Pekin, Ill., died at 11:17 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2002, at the Pekin Hospital Emergency Room.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry C. Edele officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemtery (sic).

Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 1315 Court St., Pekin, Ill., 51554 (sic - 61554) or to the Pekin Community High School Noteables, in care of Sue Tibbs, treasurer, 3101 Zion Oaks Road, Pekin, Ill., 61554.

Mr. SIMPSON was born Sept. 29, 1949, in Fairfield, the son of James John and Thelma Lavonne LYON SIMPSON. He married Katherine E. McLAIN Aug. 14, 1971, in Fairfield.

He attended Parsons College and graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant with a bachelor's degree in business administration and a minor in mathematics. He was an employee of Steak 'n Shake since 1975, and was the Illinois division manager and last worked Friday. He was a 19 year resident of Pekin, Ill., and his pastimes included golfing.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Jennifer D. SIMPSON of Bloomington, Ill., Stefanie N. SIMPSON of Normal, Ill., and Elizabeth A. SIMPSON of Pekin, Ill.; two brothers, James J. SIMPSON of Fairfield and Larry Joe SIMPSON of Fountain, Colo.; and one sister, Pamela S. HUFFMAN of Fairfield.

His parents preceded him in death.
