Pg. 7 Col. 5ROLAND MARSH DIED IN IDAHO
Former Fairfielder was graduate of Parsons, funeral here
Roland K. MARSH, Jr. (sic. Roland Kleinman MARSH; although the obituary uses "Jr." it is not on his headstone), 36, passed away Thursday afternoon at Saint Anthony's hospital in Boise City (sic. Boise), Idaho after a short illness. His parents Mr. and Mrs. Roland MARSH, Sr. were summoned to his bedside last week, and were with him when death came. The body will be brought to this city for burial but as yet the time of arrival is not known.
Mr. MARSH was an only son, born and reared in this city and was popular both in the high school and on the campus of Parsons college. He was graduated from the high school in 1923 and from Parsons in 1927. He taught school for a time near Seymour. Later he went west finally locating in Boise City. He married a Boise City girl about two years ago, who with his parents survive (sic. name of his wife isn't disclosed in any of the MARSH family obituaries; she evidently is not buried beside Roland in this plot at Evergreen cemetery).
Early in the summer Mr. MARSH underwent a serious major operation and until recently it was thought he was regaining his health.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic church and Rev. Father Thoman will have charge. The Rosary will be recited Monday evening at 7:30 o'clock at the family residence 301 West Stone street. The Hoskins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
