JAY COLLINS PASSES AWAY.

Jay COLLINS died at 3 o'clock this morning.... His death was due to an attack of indigestion. Mr. COLLINS was born in Jefferson County Jan. 25, 1855, and spent the earlier part of his life on a farm near Salina. He was unmarried and is survived by four brothers: M.R. COLLINS of this city, Grant of San Diego, Calif.; Ira of Los Angeles, and Ernest of Malvern. Two sisters, Mrs. Alonzo GREEN and Mrs. Emma CHESTER, have preceded him in death. Funeral arrangements are awaiting word from relatives in the west.

COLLINS RITES TOMORROW AT 2.

Funeral services for Jay COLLINS will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Hoskins Funeral Home in charge of Dr. Gilbert Voorhees. The body will be placed in a receiving vault until roads are passable, when burial will be at the Chilcott Cemetery near Salina.
