LOCKRIDGE. MRS. MARGARET MCGUIRE, mother of SAMUEL MCGUIRE of this township, died Saturday morning, Jan. 17, at her home near Merrimac, aged 86 years 7 months and 20 days. She was born in Rush County, Indiana May 27, 1827, and when a small child came to Iowa with her father and located on a farm near Brush Creek. She was united in marriage July 6, 1846 with CHARLES MCGUIRE, who passed away in 1904. Five children were born to this union.
