LIBERTYVILLE - Allen Lee McNEELEY, 45, of Libertyville, died at 2:05 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 1993, at Van Buren County Memorial Hospital in Keosauqua.

The service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Thomas Clark officiating. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Plainview Cemetery at Mount Morris, Ill. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Raymond Funeal Home, and Thursday evening at the Finch Funeral Home in Mount Morris. A family memorial has been established and donations may be left at the local funeral home.

McNEELEY was bon July 8, 1947, in Chicago, the son of Glen and Marguerite PIPER MCNEELEY. He spent his childhood in northern Illinois, California and Iowa and attended Mount Morris. He married Charlene STEVENS on Dec. 18, 1970, in Dixon, Ill. They moved to Libertyville in July 1976. He served in the U.S. Army from December 1968 until August 1970, stationed in Germany.

He was a supervisor in the machine shop at Dexter Co., where he had been employed since October 1976.

Suviving are his wife; a daughter, Christy of Libertyville; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. His parents preceded him in death.
