John Delbert TURNER, 86, of Fairfield, died Thursday, March 8, 2012, at SunnyBrook Living Care Center in Fairfield.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Lawn Cemetery, with the Rev. Medea Saunders officiating.
Memorials may be made to Heart Association or Fairfield Fraternal Order of Eagles. Cards and memorials may be sent to 701 E. Buchanan Ave., Fairfield 52556.

Mr. TURNER was born July 27, 1925, in Van Buren County, the son of George Elmer and Elsie POOL TURNER. He married Lou Ann DeHART Oct. 23, 1953, in Des Moines.
Mr. TURNER had resided in Fairfield the past 25 years, having previously resided in Des Moines. He was a truck driver for Interstate Motor Freight Co.
Survivors include his wife; three children: Susan MARTIN and husband Randy of Pella, Martin TURNER and wife Tammy of Des Moines and Donna DINGUS and husband Dale of Missouri Valley; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four siblings Merrill TURNER and Gerald TURNER of Farmington, Carroll LANNOM of Lebanon, Tenn., and Virginia ROBISON of Milton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings: Elmer TURNER, Marie GRIMSON and Ethel COLEMAN.
