Robert William SHAW, 54, 309 W. Jefferson, died at 11 p.m. Friday at the Jefferson County Hospital.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Hickman officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Robert William SHAW was born Feb. 1, 1919, in Jefferson County, the son of William and Maude GREEN SHAW. He was reared and educated in the Fairfield Schools.
He was married Aug. 23, 1946, to Betty BRANCH at the St. Mary Church in Hadleigh, Suffolk, England.
SHAW was a member of the Four Square Church, and VFW. He was a veteran of World War II and had been employed at the Louden Division, ACCO, for the past 25 years.
Survivors include his widow; also three daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Heather) AUSMAN, Fairfield; Mrs. Richard (Susan) NICHOL, Iowa City; Peggy at home; one son, David at home; five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Leona NELSON, Chicago; three brothers: Darrell, Mount Pleasant; Walter and Max, both of Evanston, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
