DEATH TAKES JOHN R. CONLEE
Brother of Mrs. C. F. LONG Died in Centerville Hospital Friday

John R. CONLEE, brother of Mrs. C. F. LONG (sic. Bessie J. CONLEE LONG, Mrs. Charles Franklin LONG) of this city, passed away in the St. Joseph hospital in Centerville, last evening, following a major operation which he underwent Monday. His two sisters, Mrs. LONG of Fairfield, and Mrs. Hazel ROHRER of Washington were with him at the time of his death.

Funeral services will be held at the Beckner Funeral Home in Centerville at 10 o'clock Sunday morning. The funeral party will then drive to Fairfield arriving at the Murray Funeral Home about 1:30 o'clock where they will be met by friends and relatives here. Services will be held in Evergreen cemetery where burial will take place.

Mr. CONLEE was born and raised in Fairfield leaving here about twenty years ago. He was a paint contractor in Centerville. His wife (sic Bertha, maiden name not known) preceded him in death two years ago. He is survived by one adopted son, Charles, at home, the two sisters, and one brother, Charles CONLEE of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
